Sports Writer

IE-Sports is currently engaged in an expansion campaign and we are looking for a Sports Writer.

Skills/Experience: At least one year of writing experience required. Strong interviewing
and reporting skills; must be well organized, resourceful and self motivated; must be able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements: Must have your own computer or computer access. Must cover a broad range of events, from high school to college to pros. As the IE-Sports Writer, you will not only attend and report on games, but act as the eyes and ears of the fans. From the
start of preseason, through the final play of the year, the public will rely on you for game details, behind-the-scenes glimpses and expert analysis of coaches, players and organizations. Must be able to meet pre-determined deadlines.

Qualifications: Minimum one year of professional writing experience. Ability to work very quickly on several projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to understand, explain, and adapt new concepts, styles, and goals easily, quickly, and creatively. Must be team oriented w/ strong organizational skills and have a passion for sports. The ability to work as part of a team is crucial.
